Ultra-sonic cutting

Ultra-sonic cutting is used to cut thermoplastic textiles, fleeces, leather and composite materials. Process times are extremely short and energy consumption is low. The method generates clean edges without any thickening of the material which is not damaged by radiant heat. Our cutting unit can be adapted for a robot. Cutting is done without any pressure on the material. Edges are clean and scrap material is kept to a minimum. 2D and 3D applications can be produced with this method. It can easily be integrated into automated processes. Systems: RC590 and KL500
